March 14, 1984 - July 26, 2009

David Riley, 25-year-old son of Pastor Dave and Donna Riley of Calvary Chapel La Mesa, was tragically killed in a car accident in Yuma, Arizona Sunday morning, July 26th. David is in heaven with the Lord. He had been camping, and got up early to make the 2 1/2 hour drive back to La Mesa, California, for church services with his family.

Pastor Dave Riley holds a special place in our hearts, as he planted the first San Diego outreach church from Horizon Christian Fellowship 30 years ago. His wife, Donna, was one of the first worship leaders at Horizon to lead the singing for the services at the North Park Theater.

We give our love and condolences to Pastor Dave and his beautiful family.

The memorial service is scheduled for 6:00pm Sunday, August 2nd, at the Salvation Army Kroc Center, where David was a youth worker and life guard at the swimming pool.
