We were sent out as Horizon Christian Fellowship (San Diego, CA) missionaries in April 2005 to serve at a multi-cultural international church in Ome, Tokyo Japan. Grace Christian Fellowship is a missionary church plant that began in 2001 and now ministers to Japanese, American military personnel, and Latin American families.
There are three primary ministries that Grace Church uses to evangelize Japan. These ministries include: the church, Grace Christian International School, and C.R.A.S.H., which is a disaster relief outreach of Grace. Sherwood serves on the church ministry team by preaching and leading worship. He is also a C.R.A.S.H. team member, and home fellowship leader.
Sarah is a full-time mother, caring for their three daughters Rachel, Faith, and Elliana and also serves on the ministry team by helping administrate and teach at the international school.
It is our desire to see Jesus, the One True God, bring healing, life, and salvation to the people of Japan. Please join us in prayer for the hearts of the Japanese to be open to the free love of Jesus Christ.

We have brought very little back with us to California. Most of the kids furniture and toys - cribs, beds, etc. we either sold or gave away. There was no way we could ship these items or bring them on the plane. So, basically, we are in need of home furnishings - children, kitchen, bedroom, living room. You name it, we probably don’t have it. |

As of right now we do not have a vehicle. We are in need of a mini-van style car in order to haul around the entire family that can hold 3 car seats. |

We are also in prayer about possible job openings. I would love to continue serving in a missions pastor role, with the goal of energizing, equipping, and mobilizing Christians for local and global mission outreach. |
