Visual and Performing Arts Night
Be sure to mark your calendar for this year’s Spring VAPA night.  It's May 16th at 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium and features all of our Visual and Performing Arts classes.  From the Visual Arts display in the Auditorium foyer to presentations by each of the Performing Arts classes, it’s an evening you don’t want to miss.  Bring the whole family to this free event!

Awards and Talent Night
Join us on Tuesday, May 20th at 6:00 p.m. in the auditorium for our Awards and Talent Night.  The theme is “One Night” centered on 1 Corinthians 12: 4-6.  We all have different gifts, talents, and abilities, but we are one body serving one God. This is a “dress up” evening.  (Think “Academy Awards” with modest attire as we celebrate students’ talents and achievements.) Auditions for the talent portion of the night will be held the week prior. Each talent act will be judged and a grand prize will be awarded. 2008 Prom for Juniors and Seniors
This year’s Prom will be held May 30, 2008 at the San Diego Maritime Museum on The Berkley. The theme is “Bridges”.  Students will board at 7:30 p.m. and must arrive by 8:00 p.m. The event ends at 12:00 midnight. Dress Code Forms and Guest Request Forms will be available in the office starting Monday May 4, 2008. Tickets will go on sale Monday May 4, 2008. The week of May 4th the cost will be $53 per ticket, but will be sold at $56 per ticket from the 12th to the 21st.  For more information contact Hannah Dangel at hdangel@horizonsd.org.
