Children's Ministry Help - If you would like to be used to bless the body of Christ, the Children's Ministry is looking for teachers to help minister to the children on Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings for all ages. Space Available! Men’s Retreat - All men are invited to the Men’s Retreat from Friday, February 10th to Sunday, February 12th, at Calvary Chapel Twin Peaks Conference Center. This will be a great time of fellowship, Bible study, prayer, and encouragement. Registration will be after the Sunday services and in the Pastoral Care office. Women’s Bible Study - Please join us Tuesday evenings at 6:30pm, and Wednesday mornings at 9:30am in the Café as we continue to study and discover more of the life giving lessons found in the “Red Letters”…the very words of Jesus. Childcare is provided in room 403. [Info: aorias@horizonsd.org]

Newlywed's Bible Study – Join other newlyweds (under 5 years) for a monthly bible study, feast, and fellowship the 1st Friday of every month in the Café at 7pm. The next meeting will be Friday, March 2nd. It will be a great opportunity to be encouraged and strengthened in a Christ centered marriage. [Info: ext. 1226]

Save the Date! Married Couples Retreat - Mark your calendars! The Married Couples’ Retreat is June 8th-10th at the beautiful Westin Mission Hills in Rancho Mirage. The retreat will be full of fun activities and great teaching with Mike MacIntosh and other guest speakers. More information will be available soon.

Cancer Encouragement Ministry - We meet the 2nd Monday of each month. If you have cancer, are a survivor, or have a heart to minister to those with cancer, please join us for our next meeting, February 13th, from 6:30-8:30pm in room 201 for worship, a devotion, prayer, and fellowship. Salt & Light Ministry – We meet the 2nd Tuesday of each month in room 703 from 6:30-8:30pm. This ministry educates Christians about important current events and teaches them to examine those issues from a Biblical perspective. We spend time praying for our leaders and our land. Umbrella Ministries - Umbrella Ministries is a support ministry reaching out to the hurts and the hearts of mothers who have experienced the death of a child: moms comforting moms. Our next meeting will be Friday, February 10th, from 10am-1pm (includes lunch). Mark your calendars for the annual mothers' conference, Journey of the Heart, May 18th-20th at the Doral Princess Hotel in Cathedral City. Scholarships are available for first time attendees. Red Cross Blood Drive - On Sunday, February 12th, the American Red Cross Blood Mobile will be at Horizon from 8am-1:30pm for blood donations. You can sign up online at www.givelife.org using code “HCF” or visit the ministry table after the services on February 5th.
